About
The Covenant Shelter will be celebrating 30 years of service helping families and individuals get back on their feet and into homes. Having been in business since 1983 Covenant Shelter is a historic component of the New London community, we organizes community support to provide temporary housing for New London area’s men, women, and children.
The Shelter directs an incoming resident’s focus on getting stability and security back in their life by providing a safe living environment, food, tutoring for school age children, career and financial counseling, and more. The Shelter promotes a cooperative living environment through shared chores and responsibilities. Interested supporters are welcome to visit during work hours. Covenant Shelter graciously accepts volunteer support, monetary, and material donations from a variety of sources.
